Mixed waste is conveyed to a steel ‘sink' fitted with powerful water jets which propel wood and other flotsam to a secondary conveyor while the separated rubble is conveyed from the ‘sink' to a dedicated collection point. CTM's compact design incorporates a wheeled water filtration system and can be supplemented with magnetic trap and/or final pickoff facilities.
